TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ULOCK
In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you that your data will be processed in our files for the purpose of maintaining and fulfilling the relationship with our entity, including sending communications within the framework of said relationship.
Furthermore, your data will be transferred in cases necessary for the development, fulfillment, and control of the relationship with our entity or in cases authorized by a law with the rank of law. According to the GDPR, you can exercise your rights before Buro Fem SL CIF B-13752506, with registered office at G.V. CORTS CATALANES,577, 08011 BARCELONA, attaching a photocopy of your ID.
The content of this communication, as well as all attached documentation, is subject to the duty of confidentiality and is intended solely for its recipient. If you are not the intended recipient, please notify us and do not disclose its content to third parties, proceeding to its destruction.
The provider of information society services must take into account that, in addition to the information provided to service recipients through its ‘Privacy Policy,’ it must have additional legal texts related to other mandatory regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, general contracting conditions, intellectual and industrial property, website use conditions, and related responsibilities. It must also consider what is established in Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, in any other precepts aside from its article 10 or even to complete the necessary information related to this.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRING AND USE OF ULOCK LOCKERS

SERVICE
ULOCK offers its Users the possibility of renting any of its lockers for periods of natural days (within the hours offered by ULOCK).
What type of lockers does ULOCK offer?
ULOCK offers three types of lockers:
- M: 32cm high x 44 wide x 86 deep or hand luggage + a small backpack
- XL: 53cm high x 44 wide x 86 deep or 2 hand luggage + 2 small backpacks or medium suitcase + 2 small backpacks
- XXL: 75cm high x 44 wide x 86 deep or extra large suitcase + 2 small backpacks or 4 hand luggage
What can a User insert into their locker?Within the limits established in this document (see Section Limits on the use of lockers), a User can insert as many items as they want, within the specified measurements, to avoid overloading the locker.
How can a User know if there are available ULOCK lockers?
Through the website www.ulock.es, the User can check the availability of lockers for the desired days by each User.
For how long can the User rent the same locker?
The User can contract the locker rental service for a minimum period of 1 day.
When can the User access the locker or lockers they have rented?
The locker rental service will be accessible to the User 24 hours any day of the week. Therefore, any user who rents a locker for one day must remove their items before 23:59 on the current day.
Once the User has inserted the items, can they only access the locker to remove them?
No, the ULOCK locker service is a locker rental service. The User can access the rented locker as many times as they wish or need during the rental period of the locker(s). Therefore, if the User forgets something or needs to access their locker throughout the day, they can do so without any problems during the reserved period.
What is the price the User must pay per type of locker/day?
The price per locker will be indicated on the website at the time of hiring, and the User can benefit from the offers in force at each moment. The prices on the website include VAT and refer to the rental of a locker (according to its size) per natural day.
How are the lockers used?
The lockers offered through ULOCK are fully automatic. The User can make a reservation through our website www.ulock.es, indicating, in addition to their personal data, the number of lockers they want to rent, their size, and the reservation period. Once the hiring is completed, the User will receive confirmation of the reservation made, the number of reserved lockers, and their security code to access their locker(s). Therefore, the User will access their locker through the security code provided by BURO FEM SL when making their reservation.
What can the user do if they have any type of incident in the use of the locker?
In case of a breakdown, blockage, or any other type of incident in the use of the locker, the User will have the ULOCK assistance service at their disposal, which they can use by calling the number +34 608 719 846 or by written communication to the following address contacto@uclok.es.
Can the User modify their reservation or withdraw from it?
Yes, as long as such modification or withdrawal is made 24 hours in advance of the start date of the reserved service.
ACCESS AND RESERVATION
To be able to hire the rental of ULOCK lockers, it is essential to meet the following requirements:
1. Have reached or be over 16 years of age.
2. Fill in truthfully and accurately the fields indicated in the form on the RESERVES section of the website (in particular, the following: name and surname, phone, email, reservation date, rental days, number of lockers to be rented (indicating the size), data necessary to complete the payment, according to the payment method used).
3. Accept these general conditions of service contracting and use of the lockers.
4. Accept the privacy policy of BURO FEM SL, as the entity in charge of ULOCK lockers.
Once the hiring process is completed, the User will receive confirmation of their reservation by both email and Whatsapp. In this confirmation, the User will be informed of the number or numbers of assigned lockers, the reserved days, as well as the access code(s) to the locker(s).
USER OBLIGATIONS. LIMITS ON THE USE OF LOCKERS
The User, when contracting the services of ULOCK locker rentals, agrees, in particular and without limitation:
1. To use the lockers solely for the purpose of depositing their property, which they need to temporarily store in a secure place.
2. To use the lockers diligently, ensuring, in particular, that the locker is properly closed when the User leaves the premises (after inserting or removing items).
3. Not to use the lockers for illegal or unauthorized purposes. In particular, the User agrees not to store objects whose mere possession or trafficking is illegal (such as stolen items, drugs, pornographic materials, or anything denigrating to human beings).
4. Not to deposit any item whose possession requires a license without such license or authorization (e.g., weapons).
5. Not to insert into the lockers any material that is polluting or dangerous (such as flammable objects or hazardous substances).
6. Not to use the lockers to deposit animals or any type of living being.
7. Not to insert food into the lockers unless it is packaged and cannot spill, stain the lockers, or produce odors of any kind in the Ulock premises.
8. Not to provide the security code to any third party, being fully responsible for the breach of this obligation and its consequences.
9. Not to use the lockers to deposit items that a third party must collect. The lockers should not be used as a means of trafficking goods between parties. This is a use not authorized by BURO FEM SL.
10. To enter the premises and remain there solely for the purpose of accessing the rented locker and only to carry out a specific action related to the inserted items. The User may not stay in the premises longer than strictly necessary.
11. Not to eat or consume drinks inside the premises.
12. To remove the items inserted into the rented locker(s) before 23:59 on the day the rental period ends.
13. To leave the lockers, at the end of the service, in the same condition as they were found, and, in particular, to notify ULOCK through contacto@ulock.es of any incidents that the User encounters in the use of the lockers or their condition.
14. Not to take photographs or videos inside ULOCK premises and, in particular and without limitation, not to take photos or recordings of the security mechanisms in the premises.
15. Not to include money, jewelry, technological items (tablets, computers, televisions, etc.), or items of special value in the lockers. The decision of the user to use the rented lockers to store such items of special value is solely and exclusively the user’s responsibility.
CONSEQUENCES AND USER RESPONSIBILITY IN CASE OF BREACH OF OBLIGATIONS
The User must indemnify BURO FEM SL for damages resulting from the breach of obligations under this contract.
Failure to meet the rental deadline:
– If the User does not empty the rented locker(s) on or before the rental expiration date, BURO FEM SL is authorized to access the lockers to remove the stored items, with the purpose of freeing them for the ordinary use by BURO FEM SL’s customers. In this case, BURO FEM SL will temporarily store the items and attempt to contact the User who has exceeded the rental period to arrange the return of the items to the User (the cost of which will be fully borne by the User). If fifteen days pass without being able to contact the User or without the User contacting BURO FEM SL and without being able to deliver the items, it will be deemed that the goods have been abandoned by the User for all purposes. In this case, BURO FEM SL will cease to store them, giving them the appropriate disposal or handling, depending on the type of abandoned goods.
– For each day that elapses from the rental expiration date without the User releasing the locker(s), a fee equivalent to the price of the unreleased locker per day will be accrued. Additionally, a penalty of €250 will be charged to the User by BURO FEM SL, regardless of BURO FEM SL’s right to claim the damages actually suffered.
– Unless the User personally collects the items, BURO FEM SL will manage the shipment of the items to the User, upon payment of the service to BURO FEM SL by the User. In particular, in this case, the User must pay BURO FEM SL €100 per item if the shipment is to be made within the national territory and €150 per item if the shipment is to be made outside of Spain. The delivery will be deemed to have occurred from the moment BURO FEM SL delivers the items to the carrier, with BURO FEM SL assuming no risk for the transport of the items.
– The return will take place once BURO FEM SL has received payment from the User for the amounts accrued for the delivery of the goods (according to the number of items and the destination), in accordance with the regulations in the paragraph above. If ten natural days have passed since BURO FEM
SL has communicated in writing the amount to be paid, and the User has not made the payment, it will be deemed that the items have been abandoned for all purposes by the User. In this case, BURO FEM SL will proceed as specified above for abandoned goods.
Failure to comply with the proper use of lockers:
– BURO FEM SL reserves the right to remove any object that does not comply with the locker usage regulations and is a prohibited item. In this case, BURO FEM SL is authorized to call the police and report the behavior, as well as to remove the prohibited items.
– The User will be responsible for the items they insert into the lockers. In any case, the removal of prohibited items will incur a penalty of €250. This penalty does not exclude the obligation of the User in breach to indemnify BURO FEM SL for the damages actually caused.
Damages caused to lockers by Users:
– The User will be fully responsible for any damages or deterioration caused to the lockers by their improper or inadequate use. In this case, the User must compensate BURO FEM SL for the physical damages caused to the locker(s) as well as for lost profits.
– In particular and without limitation, the User causing the damage must pay BURO FEM SL a penalty equivalent to the daily rental for each day the locker is unusable, as well as the cost of repair or replacement, quantified at €1,500 in case of replacement. This is in addition to any damages and losses suffered by BURO FEM SL.
Payment of Penalties
The penalties detailed in this section will be paid by the User using the same payment method used by the User when contracting the service or by bank transfer to the account indicated by BURO FEM SL if required by the User. The User expressly agrees that BURO FEM SL may proceed to collect the amounts established in this section using the User’s card or payment method.
BURO FEM SL OBLIGATIONS
BURO FEM SL undertakes to keep the locker service active and to make the locker(s) contracted by the User available in good working order during the contracted period.
Additionally, BURO FEM SL undertakes to resolve any incidents that may arise in the use of the lockers as soon as possible.
LIMITATION OF BURO FEM SL LIABILITY
BURO FEM SL offers a locker space rental service and is not responsible for the custody of the items. The User is solely responsible for the items they include in the rented lockers.
However, in the case of theft, BURO FEM SL has an insurance contract in favor of Users that covers losses due to theft up to a maximum of €1,000 per locker.
This insurance does not cover the loss of money, jewelry, precious stones or metals, watches, plasma screens, and, in general, technological objects (LCDs, GPS navigators, mobile phones, computers, tablets), works of art, antiques, memory cards, or any other medium containing data or images.
CLAIMS
If the User believes they have reason to file a complaint, they can do so by sending an email to contacto@ulock.es .
BURO FEM SL will attempt to resolve the incident and find a satisfactory solution for both parties.
If the User is not satisfied with BURO FEM SL’s response, they have the option to file a complaint with the consumer authorities of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia.
